Meet Tommy – a sweet boy who deserves his second chance
Tommy is an approximately 2-year-old orange tabby with the gentlest soul. He’s very laid-back, calm, and a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweetness shines through.
Tommy was adopted once and sadly returned, not because of anything he did wrong — he just needed a little more time. Since then, he’s been sharing a room with kittens and other adult cats with no issues at all, proving he can get along just fine.
He’s neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his shots — totally ready for his forever home. Tommy truly just needs someone patient and kind who believes in second chances.
Meet Spicey Girl
Don’t let the name fool you — Spicey Girl is more sweet soul than spice This gorgeous black cat with her mesmerizing golden eyes is just waiting for the right human to earn her trust and steal her heart.
Spicey Girl had a rough start in life, so she’s a little shy at first. She’s not aggressive one bit — just a cautious lady who prefers to take things slow. Give her patience, gentle words, and a cozy spot to observe the world, and she’ll show you just how special she really is.
All of her siblings have already found their forever homes, and now this sweet girl is patiently waiting for hers. She’s hoping for a calm, loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.
Think you might be her person?
Meet Blue
Blue is a sweet, loving girl… on her terms (and honestly, we respect a queen who knows what she wants).
This adorable kitty is full of personality! She’ll be the first to greet you at the door after a long day, ready to say hello and see what you’ve been up to. She loves her toys, has a playful, energetic side, and enjoys both wet and dry food like a champ.
Blue is also:
Great with the litter box
Playful and curious
Affectionate (when she’s in the mood!)
You bring the cat home as a "foster" for a set period (often 5–30 days, depending on the organization).
During this time, you care for the cat, observe its personality in a home environment, and see if it's a good fit with your family, lifestyle, and any other pets.
The shelter usually covers medical costs (like spay/neuter, vaccinations, or ongoing treatments) during the trial.
If it works out, you complete the adoption (often with priority or "first dibs" as the foster).
If it's not the right match, you return the cat to the shelter—no hard feelings—and they find another home.
Cats often behave differently in a stressful shelter than in a calm home, so this helps reveal their true personality.
It's great for shy, special-needs, or long-stay cats who need extra time to adjust.
It reduces returns after adoption and helps more animals find permanent homes.
