A silly, loving girl with amazing eyes, a love for belly rubs... and a habit of carrying her food bowl around!

Meet Ellie Mae, an approximately 5-year-old female Australian Kelpie / Herding Breed Mix (best guess) with a whole lot of personality and love to give.

Ellie Mae may take a little time to get to know you, but once she does, she's super friendly, loving, and ready for all the pets and belly rubs she can get!

And trust us...

She LOVES her belly rubs!

She also loves being petted and rubbed, playing with toys, and just being around her people.

But Ellie Mae has another funny little habit...

Sometimes she carries her food bowl around in her mouth!

Yep, she's a silly girl, and that's just part of what makes her so lovable.

And then there are those eyes...

Ellie Mae has absolutely amazing, beautiful eyes that you really need to see in person!

Ellie Mae's Story..

Ellie Mae knows what it feels like to have a home... and then unexpectedly lose it through no fault of her own.

She first came to us when she was approximately 1 year old and spent about a year and a half at the shelter before finally being adopted by an elderly woman.

For about a year, Ellie Mae had a home and someone to love.

But sadly, her owner eventually had to move into a nursing home and could no longer care for her.

Through no fault of Ellie Mae's, she found herself back at the shelter.

She has now been back with us for approximately six months and is once again hoping someone will give her the forever home she deserves.

She's already had a home once.

Now we're hoping her next one truly lasts forever.

🐕🐕 ❓Other dogs: Ellie Mae gets along with some dogs, but she has some strong herding instincts and sometimes tries to herd the other dogs a little more than they appreciate! Because of this, she would likely do best as an only dog, or potentially with a very compatible and tolerant canine companion.

❓Cats: Unknown. Because of her overall preferences and her strong herding instincts, we believe an only-pet home may be the ideal match for Ellie Mae.

❓ Children: Unknown. We haven't had enough experience with Ellie Mae around children to know how she would do. Because she can have strong herding instincts, a home with older children or adults may be the best fit.

Meet Copper...

Some dogs chase tennis balls. Copper chases WATER!

Handsome 4-year-old Heeler mix who definitely knows how to have a good time!

Copper is a high-energy guy with plenty of personality and an especially strong love for one thing...

WATER! 💧💧💧

Give Copper a garden hose and you've got yourself an instant source of entertainment. He absolutely loves chasing the water coming from the hose, and his energy level goes into overdrive when water is involved!

Copper also loves going for walks and is great on a leash, making him a fun companion for someone who enjoys getting outside and staying active.

While Copper is generally a high-energy dog, he also has a sweet side. When he slows down, he can be a real sweetheart who enjoys getting pets and affection from his people.

Copper is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, so he is READY TO BE ADOPTED TODAY!

Meet Bella...

Bella is a super sweet 8-year-old female Shepherd Mix (best guess) weighing approximately 25–35 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Don't let Bella's age fool you—this sweet girl still has plenty of personality and energy! She enjoys going for walks and can happily handle longer distances.

Bella does great on a leash, although she may pull a little when she discovers an especially interesting smell. Sometimes there are just smells that absolutely must be investigated!

And yes...Bella can still get the occasional case of the zoomies!

Bella is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate. She really enjoys being around people and having company, and one thing we've learned since she arrived at the shelter is that this poor baby girl really doesn't like being alone.

Bella can experience separation anxiety and may cry when she's left by herself in her kennel or play yard. She does great when she's with people—she simply seems happiest when she has someone nearby.

Around the shelter, Bella appears calm when other dogs are nearby and has not shown aggression when walking past them. However, we haven't yet directly introduced her to other dogs, so we're still learning how she interacts with them one-on-one.

We also don't yet know how Bella does with cats or children, but we'll continue getting to know this sweet girl and learning more about her personality.

Pepper is a 3.5-year-old female dog with a sleek, solid black coat and striking amber eyes. She's a bit reserved at first and takes some time to warm up to new people or dogs, but once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loving.

She absolutely adores going on walks and has plenty of energy for exploring trails—whether it's a casual stroll or a longer hike through rocky desert paths. She's happiest when she's out moving, leash in hand, taking in the sights and smells around her.
